Of Moons and Sapphires is my work-in- progress High Fantasy Young Adult novel set in a magic kingdom inspired by medieval Wales.
The kingdoms across Tirotan are in turmoil after armies of ogres scour the lands and kill hundreds of soldiers. Princess Seren of Lyslyn is expected to wed the perfect suitor, despite only being attracted to women. Frustrated with her queen mother's lack of action against the ogres and being mocked for her independent nature and weak magic, she leaves to seek aid from her neighbouring kingdom Glirdwr. There, she discovers the depths of her powers, her attraction to a brave female knight and long kept secrets of her past that will shock her and her kingdom to its core.
Seren must find the ultimate strength in herself to save her country from death and ruin.

Scientists have finally found a cure for the Humebeast virus. But not everyone is in favour of changing themselves.
The Humanoidz are on their last few legs of a world tour supporting Milton Towers. They are soon recognised by the music press and are invited for interviews and parties. Sam, who has been without a job and living at Leo’s place, is visited by his brother. But their relationship is fraught over their dysfunctional parents.
After Leo gives Sam a job as a part time record producer and grants him more DJ gigs, the two rekindle their decades-long romance, even though Humebeasts and humans are not allowed romantic relationships.
Ziggy’s father Arnold is up to his old tricks as he tries to make money off of the Humanoidz’s increasing fame, despite being newly sober.
One day, an antidote for the chimera virus, long thought to be incurable, has been discovered, setting the whole world ablaze with controversy, riots and protests, both for and against the idea of a cure. Frankie is firmly on the side of not wanting to change his DNA, as he has become more radical in positive representation for chimera people.
As the band prepares to promote their second album, fractures within the group slowly grow larger. While Frankie becomes more interested in activism rather than the music, Ziggy fully embraces the rock-star lifestyle: drinking, partying, working hard and struggling to commit to his girlfriend.
Soon the band realize that the industry they all dreamed of getting into is far from the secure paradise they were led to believe. Ziggy spirals into the depravity of addiction and unresolved traumas and Sam peers behind the curtain of his beloved partner Jynx and sees the darkest side of those in power.
Meanwhile, the Purebreeds, rebranded The Chimera Front, have not forgotten nor forgiven the damage done to them by The Humanoidz, Sam and Leo. And with a cure to the Humebeast virus threatening their very identity, it’s only a matter of time before they resort to even more extreme acts in the name of Chimera rights.
